The Jakhu Temple is one of the must visit attractions of Shimla.This temple is situated at the height of about 2455 meters and is dedicated to Lord Hanuman.This temple is situated right in the middle of the dense forest of Jakhu hills.It is difficult to know about the age of the temple but it is speculated that it is there since the time of Ramayana according to the ancient Hindu texts.

The Mall is like the center of activities in Shimla as it is located right in the middle of the city.This area of the city is flourished with several departmental stores, shopping complexes, restaurants and many more.Besides these one can also visit one of the oldest churches of the area along with the temple situated in close proximity.

Another major attraction is The Toy Train which is known for its unique railway tracks in the world.These railway tracks took around fifty years to get completed.This magnificent rail was included in the Guinness Book on ‘Rail Facts and Feats’ as the engineering achievement in the field of narrow gauge railway track in India.While your journey from Kalka to Shimla, it passes through around 107 tunnels of varying sizes.It takes around three minutes to cross the longest tunnel of Barog.

The speed of the train is round 20 to 25 kilometers offering an opportunity to enjoy the every moment of their journey along with the magnificent views of the Himalayas.
